A native of Florida, I now live in Boston, Massachusetts. During the day, I play the part of a site reliability engineer at Google reservation systems engineer at ITA Software in Cambridge, MA. I am part of the team building the next generation of airline reservation systems, focused mostly on scheduling and inventory.

Education:

I graduated from the University of Texas, with a B.S. in Mathematics, and a minor in Computer Science. I continued my formal education with a Masters Degree at Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies, focusing on Telecommunications and Network Management, specializing in information security.

Free Time:

In my free time I find myself interested in more than just what is on the computer screen. During the warmer months, I’ll be on my road bike roaming around the Boston suburbs, sometimes with my Nikon DSLR in tow. When not pushing myself farther on the bike, I can be found reading, writing, and eating whats on the plate in front of me. Some people call this being a foodie. I’ll take that moniker, with a good bottle of wine. Being an fan of Linux and the Open Source community, I try to contribute back as much as I can through bug reports and general interest.
